How we handle the details you share.

This notice explains what personal data we collect when you use plaudeo.com — in particular when you request a demonstration — why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. It is written to meet our obligations under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the EU GDPR.

Who we are

The data controller is Plaudeo Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales under company number 13672363, with its registered office at 20 Bassingham Close, Oakwood, Derby, England, DE21 4RP (“Plaudeo”, “we”, “us”).

What we collect

When you submit the “Request a demo” form, we collect the information you choose to provide — typically your name, email address, and any details you include in your message (for example your organisation or what you’d like to see). The form is operated on our behalf by Tally, which also records basic technical information such as the time of submission.

When you sign up on our email-updates page, we collect your email address (and any other field that form requests) so we can send you occasional updates about Plaudeo.

If you interact with Alfred, our on-page chat assistant, the content of that conversation is processed to answer your questions. Please don’t share sensitive personal information in the chat — it isn’t needed to arrange a demo.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

To respond to your request and arrange a demonstration. Lawful basis: legitimate interests — you have asked us to get in touch, and we have a clear interest in responding to genuine enquiries.
To keep a record of enquiries so we can follow up appropriately. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.
To send you updates if you sign up for them. Lawful basis: consent — we only email updates to people who have asked for them, and every message includes a one-click unsubscribe. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

Signing up for updates is entirely separate from requesting a demo — we will not add you to the updates list just because you asked for a demo.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract and on our instructions:

Tally — operates the demo-request and email-updates forms (form data).
ElevenLabs — powers the Alfred chat assistant (chat content).
Render — hosts this website.
Our own email and contact-management tools, used to reply to you.

Some of these providers are based outside the UK/EEA. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect it.

How long we keep it

We keep demo-request details for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting relationship, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

Your rights

Under data protection law you have the right to:

access the personal data we hold about you;
have inaccurate data corrected;
have your data erased;
restrict or object to our processing;
receive your data in a portable format; and
withdraw any consent you have given, at any time.

To exercise any of these, email dave@plaudeo.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, or your local supervisory authority in the EEA.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site uses Google Fonts and embeds the Tally form and the ElevenLabs chat widget. These may set limited cookies or store data necessary for those features to work. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

We may update this notice from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows the current version.
